Once a year the humans who live in my house stand outside in the cold and set fire to things that make bright lights and loud noises. Not sure why, but it amuses them for a few minutes. The humans in other houses so the same as well. It is probably a way of sending messages. Seems a bit odd when I can spray on things any time.
People seem to be concerned that I would be upset by the noise. Because the humans have these see-through holes in the walls with a thing they call double-glazing I can hardly hear anything outside. I remember one year hearing a dull thud that woke me up. A quick lick of the arse set me up to go back to sleep.
