His collection of odd nuts, bolts and washers goes back at least 60 years. Today Craig found a use for a nut and bolt to fix the handle on his lawnmower.
Some of his collection may well have belonged to his dad. Craig has been adding to the collection from bits left over whenever he has repaired something, or just found lying around the house.
His wife has been trying to get rid of them, but he insists that they might come in handy. For the first time since they were married he had finally been able to use a nut and bolt. “The lawnmower might not be very good, but at least we can use it a bit longer”.
