Liz Truss – it’s all the fault of human rights

Having lost her seat South West Norfolk seat to Labour’s Terry Jermy by around 600 votes she left without any comment. Later she reflected on the blame for the defeat.

“I think the issue we faced as Conservatives is we haven’t delivered sufficiently on the policies people want.” When asked about her responsibility she said: “I agree. I was part of that. That’s absolutely true.”

She later added that it was the fault of the human rights laws that she couldn’t achieve what she wanted to do as Prime Minister. So still totally oblivious to the financial devastation she and her Chancellor inflicted on the country.

Truss has constantly battled against human rights viewing them as a barrier to inflicting draconian policies.
