Family brought close to breaking point by four days of games

Every Christmas the grown up children return to the family home for a week. The customary board games every evening used to be fun but are starting to become an ordeal.

The board games started when the Tosis siblings, Hayley and Dermot, were young children. It was fun and exciting at the time. Now they are in their twenties they feel like they regress back to being children under their parents roof.

This Christmas they have played Pictionary, Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly, Cluedo, Carcassonne, Articulate, Snakes and Ladders, Who wants to be a millionaire, Logo and the Mansions of Madness. Hayley has developed a nervous tic in her left eye and Dermot has scratched his ear so much it has started bleeding.

They think they might be able to make it to the end of the week without screaming and committing murder, but they can’t guarantee it.
