A large arched section of a bridge being lowered into place by crane over a river

New river bridge in Nottingham cements city’s reputation

For being the most miserable c*nts in the East Midlands.

With the dropping into position of the arch section of the new Waterbridge over the river Trent. The 175-l tonne pedestrian and cycle bridge will link Tren mm mmt Basin, off Daleside Road in the city boundary, to the south bank of the river close to the Hook nature reserve in Lady Bay, in Rushcliffe borough.

The preassembled section was made by Britons Fabrications in Hucknall.

This £18 million boost to the infrastructure of this area was greeted by moaning from local, and not so local residents.

  • I bet the scooters & e-bikes, Just Eat jockeys and the graffiti nobs can’t wait.
  • Keep claiming your benefits and folks like me will keep on paying tax so communist councils can waste it
  • That’ll save the drug runners a lot of time and a quick getaway
  • Great for e-bike criminals to get away from police in cars..
  • Mmmm is this true or is it a made up story, no one knows anymore
