Michelle Mone in talks with ITV for drama idea

After seeing the success of Mr Bates vs the Post Office in righting wrongs, Michelle Mone has contacted ITV to discuss a new drama idea. As the victim of unfair scrutiny and investigations she is certain that there is a story to be told. She is certain that the inquiry outcome will go against natural justice.

Mone feels that she has been victimised by the media, especially The Guardian, who seem to think they have the right to poke into her business. If it wasn’t for them poking into who owned PP Medpro, and the Good Law Project being busybodies nobody would have known. “No-one was hurt so what’s the big deal?”.

“The idea of an enquiry is ridiculous. Everyone who needed to know knew exactly what was going on”. She feels that she was helping the government. It was the middle of a pandemic. Money wasn’t being spent, and what is the purpose of a government if not to spend money? There was all this unused money swilling about and they needed it gone pronto.

In her eyes she was doing the government a favour shifting the money out of Whitehall and into the economy. Admittedly it was the yacht buying economy, but people who build, sell and look after yachts have a right to a living as well.

She is hoping that a good drama will get everyone on her side. She is planning to set up a 38 degrees petition calling on The Guardian and Good Law Project to stop bullying her. It is putting her off shopping.
